India’s 75th Republic Day is being celebrated with joy and enthusiasm throughout Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shiv Pratap Shukla hoisted the tricolor and took the salute of the march past at the state level main function held at the historic ridge of Shimla. A grand parade has also been organized during the state level main function.
The grand parade organized at the state level main function included men and women contingents of the Indian Army, J&K Rifles, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Haryana Police, Army Pipe Band, Himachal Pradesh Police Department, Guards, Fire Service Team, State Disaster Response. The salute was taken by the Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla in the entire parade by about 27 contingents of the Force and Postal Department.
Apart from this, Home Guard Band, Ex-Servicemen Contingent, NCC Cadets, NSS, Bharat Scouts and Guide Contingent also took part in the march past salute. Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has also been specially present in the state level function.
During the state level function, spectacular presentations were also given by cultural groups from different districts of Himachal Pradesh. A VIP stage was built to watch the cultural program right in front of the historic Ridge Ground in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
16 tableaux have also been taken out during the state level main function. The culture and development of Himachal Pradesh has been displayed in a spectacular manner in 16 tableaux.
In the state level main function of Republic Day, spectacular cultural presentations were also given by the groups of North Zone Cultural Center Shimla, Sirmour and Haryana.
Apart from these, cultural programs were also presented by the teams of Balak Ashram Tutikandi and Government Senior Secondary School Pathshala Rohru in the state level main function.
Apart from this, district level Republic Day celebrations were also celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh.

Grand parade organized in Kullu district on Republic Day celebrations –
At the same time, a grand parade has been organized at the District Administration Headquarters Kullu on Friday on the 75th Republic Day. Kullu District Police, ITBP, Home Guard, NSS, SCC along with nine contingents have participated in the grand parade.
CPS Sundar Singh Thakur of Kullu district took the salute of the parade by hoisting the tricolor.
A huge crowd of people has gathered from different areas of Kullu district to see the entire Kullu District Republic Day program. Interesting cultural programs have also been the center of attraction during the Republic Day celebrations of Kullu district.
On the other hand, in Keylong of Lahaul-Spiti district too, in the extreme cold, Himachal Pradesh Government’s Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi hoisted the tricolor and also took the salute of the entire grand parade.
Grand Republic Day celebration organized in Dharamshala of Kangra district-
Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania participated as the chief guest in the Republic Day function organized at the district level in Dharamshala in Kangra district. During the district level Republic Day celebrations in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania hoisted the national flag and also took the salute in the grand parade.
At the same time, a grand ceremony has been organized on Republic Day at Gaggal Airport in Kangra district. Dhirendra Singh, Director of Civil Airports, Airports Authority of India, has hoisted the national flag at Gaggal Airport.
Guard of Honor salute has been given by the Himachal Pradesh Police personnel deployed for security at Gaggal Airport. After this, cultural programs were presented by the students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhanala (Goju) and Mount Carmel School Gaggal.
A dance on a patriotic song was performed by the children of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhanala Goju. Also, the educational presentations made by the children of Mount Carmel School have enthralled everyone.
75th District Level Main Republic Day Celebration Celebrated at Historic Seri Manch of Mandi District –
The district level celebration of the 75th Republic Day has been organized at the historic Seri Manch in Mandi city. The entire district level Republic Day celebration has been presided over by Harshvardhan Chauhan, Industries Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government. Himachal Pradesh Government’s Industries Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan first garlanded the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and after garlanding, the grand parade salute was also taken by hoisting the national flag.
