Himachal Pradesh put up a brilliant performance against Uttarakhand in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Elite B Group match to register a big win by an innings and 97 runs. In the match played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh lost the toss and batted first to post a mammoth total of 663 runs for the loss of only three wickets.

In the match played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh lost the toss and batted first to post a mammoth total of 663 runs for the loss of only three wickets.
The Himachal Pradesh batting lineup performed brilliantly and four players scored centuries. Shubham Arora scored 118 runs, followed by Prashant Chopra’s powerful innings of 171 runs. The star of the innings was Ankit Kalsi, who remained unbeaten on 205. Ekant Sen put further pressure on Uttarakhand by scoring 101 runs, while Mayank increased the score by playing a quick innings of 56 runs.
In response, Uttarakhand struggled to keep up with Himachal’s momentum. In their first innings, the visitors managed to score 299 runs. Vaibhav, Arpit and Mayank also contributed to the effort, with Vaibhav taking 2 wickets in the first innings and 1 in the second, while Arpit and Mayank took 2 wickets each in the first innings and 1 in the second.
