Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 07: The Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh will provide Rs. 1500-1500 every month to more than five lakh eligible women aged between 18 to 60 years under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana from the financial year 2024-25. Application forms have been issued by Himachal Pradesh government to collect information about eligible women of the state under Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana.

All eligible women will have to apply to the Tehsil Welfare Officer. Only the native women of Himachal Pradesh are going to get the benefit of Rs 1500-1500 every month under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana. Tehsil Welfare Officer will verify the form. After this the funds will be released by the concerned department. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced to give Rs. 1500-1500 every month from the financial year 2024-25 to the eligible women of Himachal Pradesh under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Scheme.
The Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh will give Rs. 1500-1500 per month to more than five lakh eligible women aged between 18 to 60 years under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Scheme. Social security pension for women above 60 years of age has already been increased to Rs 1500 per month.

Departmental officials said that under the form, Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh have been asked to give information about the account opened in the bank or post office. Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh have also been asked to provide information related to Aadhaar number, ration card number, BPL family, caste and minority community
There will be no benefit if there are members of these categories in the family –
Women will not be included in the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana if there are central or state government employees, pensioners, contract, outsourced, daily wage earners, part-time category employees in the family. Apart from this, serving or ex-servicemen and military widows, honorarium Anganwadi workers-helpers, Asha workers, mid-day meals, multi-task workers, social security pension beneficiaries, employees of Panchayati Raj institutions, urban local bodies, various public sector bodies under the Central-State Government. Women working in undertakings, boards, councils, agencies, pensioners, persons registered for Goods and Services Tax and families of income tax payers will also not get the benefit of the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana.
