A girl from Punjab state has died in Bhuntar in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The twenty-two year old girl had come to Kullu for a picnic with her friends. On Friday, December 29, the girl’s health suddenly deteriorated and with immediate effect the girl was admitted to Kullu District Hospital for treatment. After first aid from Kullu District Hospital, the girl was referred to Nerchowk Medical College and Hospital.

The girl died during treatment at Ner Chowk Medical College and Hospital. The girl from Punjab state was staying in a private guest house in Bhuntar in Kullu district along with all her friends. The deceased girl from Punjab has been identified as Arunpreet Kaur, principal resident of Amritsar city, Punjab state. Kullu District Police Administration SP Sakshi Verma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the investigation process of the entire case of Arunpreet Kaur has been started by Kullu Police.
