Shimla, September 14: The mosque dispute in Himachal Pradesh is not taking the name of stopping. The dispute that arose from Sanjauli in Shimla has now reached many areas of Himachal. The government’s efforts for peace do not seem to be successful. On Saturday, Hindu organisations protested against illegal mosques in Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur and Sunni in Shimla. While markets remained closed at many places in view of the two-hour call by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Regarding the ongoing mosque dispute in Himachal Pradesh, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that the Chief Minister has called an all-party meeting and has talked about maintaining peace and taking action against illegal construction as per the law.

At the same time, he has also assured to take strict action on other issues. He respects public sentiments and stands with them. The government is ready to talk with Hindu organisations, the doors of the government are open for all.
