Postal Department of Posts organized an awareness program in Padag Panchayat of District Solan.

Recently, the postal department has started Mahila Samman Bachat Yojana. To give special information about this scheme, the Department of Posts organized an awareness program in Padag Panchayat of District Solan. In which women were given detailed information about Mahila Samman Bachat Yojana. Along with this, information about various schemes including ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme of the Central Government was given.

As you know, the Department of Posts operates various types of savings schemes under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Specially, from January 1, 2023, interest rates have been increased in various savings schemes of the Department of Posts.
Apart from this, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme has been run by the Government of India. Accounts were opened under it. Mahila Samman Bachat Yojana has just been launched by the Government of India, in relation to which a target of twenty five thousand one hundred and fifty accounts has been set for sixteen postal circles from the Cheat Postmaster General’s Office under Himachal circle.
Under this, all head post offices and sub-post offices have been given a target of 200 Mahila Samman savings accounts. Similarly, the three hundred and seven branch post offices under the sixteen postal circles will have to open fifty accounts.
