Solan, June 18: An innocent 3.5 year old child lost his life in a heart wrenching road accident that took place in Solan city of Himachal Pradesh.The entire incident occurred on Monday evening when migrant woman Radha Devi, currently a resident of Raboun, had gone to visit her brother Rajveer’s quarter with her two young children.
In the evening, when migrant woman Radha Devi was crossing the lane from Solan to Kumarhatti with her two small children after meeting her brother Rajveer, Radha Devi’s 3 year 6 month old son suddenly moved forward and was crossing the road from Solan to Kumarhatti, when a pickup coming at a high speed from Solan hit Radha Devi’s small child and after the collision, the pickup driver stopped the vehicle 20 meters ahead.
The injured child’s maternal uncle, who was running his cart, immediately reached the child and saw that the child was bleeding from his head and nose and had fallen unconscious on the spot due to a severe head injury. After this, the child was immediately taken to Solan Hospital by the pickup driver who had hit him, where the doctors declared the innocent child dead.
In the entire accident, a case has been registered against the pickup driver, Sunil Kumar, 29 years old, resident of ITI Solan, for rash, negligent and reckless driving.Along with this, an investigation has been started in the entire case.
