Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) – Eight more trainees have been expelled from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, taking strict action. Strict action has been taken against the eight trainees after they were found guilty of consuming alcohol and violating rules in the NIT Hamirpur hostel campus.
Due to not getting satisfactory answers to the questions asked by all the eight trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, the disciplinary committee of National Institute of Technology (NIT) has imposed a complete ban on all the eight trainees from the hostel for one year.
On the other hand, the disciplinary committee has also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each against the eight trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur: Strict action against eight trainees for consuming alcohol –
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur campus, located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, took strict action against eight trainees for indiscipline and drug abuse by taking judicial custody of eight trainees, including a girl student, for one year on Tuesday. The institute has been completely banned Eight Students from NIT (Hamirpur) hostel.
According to the overall decision of the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD) of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur Campus Management has approved that strict action has been taken against eight trainees including a student.
Recently, on November 4, five B.Tech trainees, including a student of the Architecture department of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, had created a huge ruckus throughout the night by consuming alcohol and entering the campus of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur.
All the disciplinary committee officials of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur had arrested four B.Tech trainees, including an architecture department student, at the main gate.
Due to which, Hamirpur District Police Administration took all the six trainees under Sadar Police Station in judicial custody of Himachal Pradesh High Court and got the medical report prepared.
Then, due to the confirmation of alcohol and drugs in the medical test reports of all the six trainees, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur summoned all the six trainees before the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD) on November 7 and took action after listening to the entire side. The process of all the eight trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur were banned from the hostel for one year was started.
After that, when two more first year B.Tech trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur also returned after intoxicating, the campus management took them before the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD) in connection with finding them guilty for disobeying all the hostel rules.
Due to not being satisfied with the answers presented before the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD) of all the eight trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, all the eight trainees of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur were banned from the hostel for one year.
Apart from this, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur has also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the eight trainees by taking strict action against them for indiscipline.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur has taken strict action against the eight trainees. Complete action has been taken against three B.Tech dual degree trainees, three B.Tech third year trainees, one B.Arch student and one M.Arch student.
Director of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, Professor HM Suryavanshi, told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Sujal Sharma, a first year MTech student, was found guilty in the case of suspicious death on October 23 and in the NDPS Act case. Two B.Tech students namely Naresh Verma and Varun Sharma have presented their case before the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD).
Also, NIT Hamirpur Director Professor HM Suryavanshi said that the Board of Discipline Committee (BOD) has submitted the report to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur administration after knowing the views presented by both the students.
