Nahan, January 18, Thursday:
Two youths, Vivek and Prince, of Amarpur locality of Sirmaur district administration headquarters, have been arrested with 503 grams of hashish.
According to the complete information received from Sirmaur District Police Administration, a checking campaign was being conducted for all the vehicles near Shri Renuka Ji Dosadka by the teams of Himachal Pradesh Special Detection Cell. During the checking operation, a car number HP 71 A 0679 was also stopped for search operation.
During the search operation, a consignment of 503 grams of hashish was recovered from the car.

Both the accused have been identified as Vivek Sharma, aged thirty-four years, resident of Amarpur Mohalla Nahan and Prince Gaur alias Goldie, aged twenty-four years, resident of Amarpur Mohalla Nahan.
On the other hand, under Renuka Ji police station of Sirmaur district administration, both the youths have been arrested and further investigation process has been started by registering the entire case under NDPS Act.
The consignment of 503 grams of charas arrested in the entire Sirmaur district in the year 2024 is the largest consignment till date.
