Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri himself has shared the information about the demise of Professor Simi Agnihotri on his official Facebook page at around 12:00 pm on Friday.

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has written on his official Facebook and Twitter account that our dear Simi Agnihotri has left us and Aastha.
Mukesh Agnihotri’s daughter’s name is Aastha. Aastha is currently living abroad for higher education.
Congress party sources said that on Friday evening, Professor Simi Agnihotri’s health had suddenly deteriorated.
Due to sudden deterioration in health, Professor Simi Agnihotri was being taken to Chandigarh for treatment but Simi Agnihotri died near Kurali.
