MoU signed for technical cooperation in state-of-the-art commercial complex and architecture
Rajesh Dharmani said that the objective of this MoU is to take advantage of the extensive experience of SPA in the field of architecture and planning so that the standards of technical education in the educational institutions of Himachal Pradesh can be further raised and the students of the state can be prepared for various competitions.

Shimla, August 10: Urban Planning, Housing and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani on Friday presided over the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing program in New Delhi between Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority (Himuda) and School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) for development of state-of-the-art commercial complex at Vikas Nagar, Shimla. He said that this project will prove to be important in achieving Top high building ranking in line with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the state government. On this occasion, a MoU was also signed between the Department of Architecture of Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College Nagrota, District Kangra and SPA for sharing technical knowledge.
Rajesh Dharmani said that the objective of this MoU is to take advantage of the extensive experience of SPA in the field of architecture and planning so that the standards of technical education in the educational institutions of Himachal Pradesh can be further raised and the students of the state can be prepared for various competitions. On this occasion, he also discussed starting a specialized course in Hill Architecture in the state.
Director SPA Delhi Prof. V.K. Paul conducted the proceedings of the MoU signing ceremony. He also highlighted the importance of efficient planning and said that this MoU will play a vital role in preserving the ecology and environment of Himachal Pradesh. Director SPA Vijayawada, HIMUDA and senior officials of the college were also present on the occasion.
