Shimla, July 28: Monsoon season is set to intensify in Himachal Pradesh from Monday, July 29, as the weather department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in most parts of the state. This alert will remain in effect till August 2, indicating potentially severe weather conditions.
Currently, the monsoon is not uniformly active across the state, resulting in sporadic rainfall in different areas. Despite the uneven monsoon activity, rain is expected in some areas on Sunday, July 28. However, the weather is expected to turn bad in most parts of Himachal Pradesh from Monday.
The forecast suggests that the monsoon will pick up pace, bringing heavy rainfall in the region. This intense monsoon activity is expected to continue till early August.
