Monday Meeting: CM Sukhu Said – Payment Will Be Done Through QR Code In Hotels, Himachal Bhawan, Rest Houses

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Government of Himachal Pradesh is focusing most on expediting the tourism infrastructure to provide a seamless and memorable experience to the tourists from outside states visiting the entire Himachal Pradesh. CM Sukhu has issued guidelines to provide complete facility of QR code based online payment in all the tourist hotels of Himachal Pradesh Government, Himachal Bhawan, Himachal Sadan and all the rest houses of various government departments. CM Sukhu has also asked the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department to ensure improvement in all essential services provided to tourists from outside states. While reviewing the ambitious projects of various government departments of Himachal Pradesh, CM Sukhu has also given directions to complete all the ambitious projects in time bound manner to benefit the people of Himachal Pradesh.

Chairing the “Monday Meeting” with all the administrative secretaries of Himachal Pradesh, CM Sukhu said that more than 65,000 death cases have been settled so far through the first Revenue Lok Adalat organized by the Himachal Pradesh government. Out of all the cases, 11,420 Intkaal and 1,217 Takseem cases have been disposed of in the 3rd Revenue Lok Adalat on January 4 and January 5 in the year 2024. CM Sukhu said that the upcoming Revenue Lok Adalats of Himachal Pradesh Government will be held on January 30 and January 31. CM Sukhu said that this is the first time that the rate of Taksim cases has been recorded at two hundred percent in Himachal Pradesh.

In Himachal Pradesh, from December 3, 2023 to January 5, 2024, 1,823 new cases of Taksim came for disposal. Also, 3,544 pending cases of Taksim in Himachal Pradesh have been disposed of during the period from 3 December 2023 to 5 January 2024.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that Himachal Pradesh Government is giving top priority to time bound disposal of pending revenue cases, due to which Revenue Lok Adalats are getting maximum positive results for the people. Himachal Pradesh Government is committed to provide quality services to the people at their doorstep.

In the administrative meeting on Monday, Himachal Pradesh Government Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu Bharat Kheda, Principal Secretary Transport RD Nazim and Secretaries M. Sudha Devi, C. Palarasu, Priyantu Mandal. Along with this, Secretary Law Sharat Kumar Lagwal was also present.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that in the second phase of this startup scheme, financial assistance is being provided by the Himachal Pradesh government to the youth to start self-employment ventures. The youth of Himachal Pradesh can install solar power projects of 100 KW, 200 KW and 500 KW. In the Startup Scheme, all the beneficiaries will have to pay only ten percent amount as security deposit, along with this, seventy percent bank loan facility of Himachal Pradesh will be provided by the Himachal Pradesh Government and thirty percent equity will also be provided by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

Also reviewing the current status of e-charging stations in Himachal Pradesh, CM Sukhu said that the first phase of Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-up Scheme has been started by the Himachal Pradesh Government, under which the unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh are being provided self-employment opportunities. To provide the opportunity, e-taxi permits have been offered. CM Sukhu has also reviewed the current status of e-charging stations being set up in various places of Himachal Pradesh. CM Sukhu has said that Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-up Scheme is going to play an important role in preserving the clean environment of Himachal Pradesh and making Himachal Pradesh a green energy state by 31 March 2026.
