Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg has said that After the announcement of Lok Sabha elections across India on March 16, 2024 and implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, 813 complaints have been received with the State Election Department.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 27: Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg has said that After the announcement of Lok Sabha elections across India on March 16, 2024 and implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, 813 complaints have been received with the State Election Department.

He said that 485 complaints have been received in the National Grievance Service Portal (NGSP) and call center toll free number 1800-332-1950 of Himachal’s district headquarters. Also, 241 complaints have been received by the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) nodal officers at the District Headquarters of Himachal, apart from this, 87 complaints have been received on the C-Vigil portal.
