The entire incident took place in Nerchowk market last night. According to the information received, 24-year-old Naresh Kumar, son of Laxman Das of Upper Barot village of Sarkaghat sub-division of Mandi district, used to work in a hotel in Ner Chowk.

Last night too, Naresh Kumar was walking towards his room after finishing the hotel work. During this time, a speeding car hit Naresh Kumar hard. The collision of the speeding car was so strong that the young man Naresh Kumar jumped several feet in the air and after that the young man Naresh Kumar fell on the ground. Young man Naresh Kumar has died tragically in this accident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the team of Balh police station reached the spot and started action in the case.

The name of the car driver accused, Rakesh son of Naganu Ram, resident of Mandir Tanda, has been arrested by the team of Balh police station.
SP Mandi Sakshi Verma has confirmed the accident. She told that the accused Rakesh has been arrested. The post-mortem of the dead body of Naresh Kumar has been done and the body has been handed over to the family members. The team of Balh police station is investigating the matter.
