Mandi News : Scientist Prashumna of Mandi district, who worked in Chandrayaan-3 mission, gets a warm welcome on reaching his native village
Mandi News : After the successful landing of the country’s historic lunar mission Chandrayaan-3, Scientist Prashumna of Mandi district, who worked in this mission, was accorded a warm welcome on reaching his native village Gavaradu.
The representatives of the Gram Panchayat Tandu and the local people felicitated the promising scientist of their area by giving mementos in a function organized in his honour.
Twenty-five-year-old Prashumna was part of the team that made Chandrayaan 3’s cryogenic engine. The rocket on which Chandrayaan 3 went out of Earth’s orbit was named Mark 3 and this rocket had cryogenic engines.
Prashumna said that he had a very small contribution in this mission but the way people have given him respect is unforgettable. He said – I am working in Stage engineering group. It was a small role. But again mean It seems very good, I mean, I understand that people have expectations because I myself have come from this small village, my father studied here. Studied in the school of this village.
I understand that likes are a big thing for people and it was very nice that so many people came and congratulated and I want to say that congratulations are a matter of pride for the whole country.
Prashumna gave a message to the future generation to move forward in the field of science and technology. He said that the possibilities of science are limitless and the more difficult this field is, the more interesting it is. In such a situation, the youth should move forward in this direction.
There is a lot of demand for technology and that is the way forward as our country can progress. So I would like more and more youths to come forward in these fields and take the country forward. Illuminate the name of the country. Don’t just illuminate the name of the country, contribute in the entire science and technology field.
