Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 13: The bodies of the two youths who went missing along with their vehicle in Karsog on March 9 were recovered on Wednesday. Let us tell you that his car met with an accident on the banks of Sutlej river near Sonaugi. On the fifth day of the incident, the NDRF and fire department team recovered the bodies of the youth along with the vehicle from the Sutlej river during the search operation. The police have taken the bodies of both the youth into their custody and have started further action.

According to the information received, the family members of both the youth had filed a missing report in Karsog police station on March 9. After which, during the investigation, the police succeeded in reaching the accident site from the mobile location of the youth. On this, a search operation was started with the help of Kumarsain police.

On receiving information about the vehicle meeting with an accident, the fire department team was called on March 12, but due to lack of success, NDRF was called to the spot. After which the teams of NDRF and fire department started a joint search operation on Wednesday and the bodies of the two youths were recovered from the vehicle number (HP 30-7549) which was submerged in the Sutlej river.

The youth have been identified as Rajat Kumar (24), son of Jaikrishna village Drakali and Bhishma (29) son of Mehar Singh village Drakali Seri Bungalow Karsog. The matter has been confirmed by DSP Karsog Sai Dattatreya Verma. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Thursday.
