Bhayarta Panchayat Head Priya Jaswal Accused Of Rigging In Government Cement, Complaint To BDO Dhanotu
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Sundernagar, April 03: Sudhir Sen, Panchayat Committee member of Dhaban Ward, has made serious allegations of corruption against the head of Gram Panchayat Bhayarta under the Development Block Dhanotu of Sundernagar sub-division. In this regard, Sudhir Sen has submitted a complaint to the Block Development Officer and demanded an investigation. Sudhir Sen has accused the Panchayat Pradhan of cement theft and wrong geo-tagging.

In the complaint, Sudhir Sen, Panchayat Committee member of Dhaban Ward, has alleged that Bhayarta Panchayat Pradhan is selling government cement which has been provided by the Himachal Government for the development works of the Bhayarta Panchayat. Apart from this, her geo tag is also completely wrong. The development work is budgeted for elsewhere and the development work is done elsewhere. On top of that, its geo tags have also been wrong.

Sudhir Sen, BDC member of Dhaban Ward, said that in Bhayarta Panchayat, the Panchayat Pradhan’s complaint about cement theft, wrong geo tagging and wrong BPL selection has been given to the Block Development Officer. At the same time, Bhayarta Panchayat head Priya Jaswal said that she has worked absolutely impartially in the Panchayat. Whatever allegations have been leveled against me, they have been made to target me personally. All allegations are baseless.
On the other hand, Vivek Chauhan, who is holding the additional charge of Block Development Officer Dhanotu, said that I have the additional charge of Dhanotu Development Block. Complaint has been received but the complaint is not clear. The complainant will be called to the office and talked to. Anyway, the model code of conduct has been imposed and whatever rules are verifiable will be implemented.
