Mandi News : Six people of Mandi district are missing since August 14 due to the disaster caused by heavy rains. These people lived at Maserna and Sabal villages under Mandi Sadar sub-division.
In Maserna village, the grandmother and her granddaughter are missing after the house collapsed and all its debris was washed away in the water. Seventeen-year-old Kritika Thakur of Dhalwada village had come to visit her sixty-one-year-old grandmother Meena Devi in Maserna village. Both were deep in the morning. Was asleep in sleep. Suddenly, due to heavy rain, the house collapsed and both of them were washed away with the strong current of water.
The relatives say that apart from the machines installed by the administration in the search operation, they have searched everywhere at their level but there is no clue of both anywhere.
At the same time, the family members have appealed to the administration for help that any information about their daughter should be given as soon as possible, the search operation is still going on by the administration and as soon as any dead body or news is received, the family members will be assured will be intimated.
