Four-day Himachal International Film Festival concluded in Chhoti Kashi
Mandi, July 1: The four-day Himachal International Film Festival, organized for the first time in Himachal Pradesh’s Choti Kashi Mandi, concluded successfully on Sunday evening. The four-day Himachal International Film Festival organized by Kala Entertainment was concluded by Himachal Pradesh Government’s Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Sharma. 40 films were shown in the four-day Himachal International Film Festival held at Sanskriti Sadan in Mandi district. Real events were also depicted through these films. An attempt was also made to make people aware of social evils.

At the conclusion of the four-day Himachal International Film Festival, the directors, producers and actors of the best films were also honored. Senior IAS officer Omkar Sharma, who arrived as the chief guest at the closing ceremony, described the four-day Himachal International Film Festival as a great initiative for Mandi district and Himachal Pradesh.
Omkar Sharma said that people associated with the film industry have visited various places of Mandi district for four days and admired the beauty of this place. In future, these people will come here and shoot their films, which is likely to give new wings to the tourism business of Himachal Pradesh. He also congratulated Kala Entertainment and other organizers for the excellent event.
Raja Singh Malhotra, founder of Kala Entertainment, said that many artists of Mandi district are earning a good name for themselves in the film industry today. The four-day Himachal International Film Festival was organized with the aim of bringing all of them on one platform and conveying various messages to the people through clean cinema. This time it was the first attempt and everyone contributed significantly in making it successful. In future, this event will be organized on an even bigger scale, so that the people of Mandi can get to know even more about the cinema world.
The film producers, directors and artists who came to the four-day Himachal International Film Festival with their films from different corners of the country were also honored with awards on the closing ceremony.
Film director Shumoun Goho, who came from Mumbai, said that he likes mountains very much. After coming here, he has realized the real beauty of the mountains. The entire team of Kala Entertainment deserves congratulations for the effort made to organize the four-day Himachal International Film Festival in the mountains.
An open forum was also organized on the closing ceremony, in which local people, people associated with theater and cinema asked their questions to the visiting artists and got their answers.
On this occasion, ADC Mandi, Rohit Rathore, film actor Akhilendra Mishra, Yashpal Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Rajesh Jais, Neeraj Sood, Sapna Sand, Gagan Pradeep, Pihu, director and organizer Pawan Kumar Sharma and director Aditya Om along with many dignitaries were present.
