Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, June 02There has been a stir after the dead body of a person found in a rotten condition in the forest adjoining Nehra Panchayat (Chail Chowk) under subdivision Gohar of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

Giving information about the entire case, Gohar Police Station in-charge Lal Chand said that on last Sunday, the villagers of Nehra Panchayat had gone to the forest of their Panchayat to eat Kafal.

When the villagers of Nehra Panchayat reached near the tree to eat Kafal, they started getting a very foul smell.Then when the villagers looked nearby, they found that a dead body was lying in a rotten state, according to the villagers, this dead body looked very old.

Immediately the villagers informed Nehra Panchayat Pradhan Sonia about the entire matter. After that Gohar Police Station Incharge Lal Chand and his team reached the forest and took the rotten dead body of the person in their custody and started investigation.

Gohar Police Station Incharge Lal Chand identified the deceased person as Sandeep. Villagers told that Sandeep was living in a rented room in Nehra Panchayat for a long time.

Gohar Police Station Incharge Lal Chand said that Sandeep’s body has been sent to Medical College Nerchowk for postmortem.Lal Chand said that who killed the deceased Sandeep, all these things can be revealed only after the postmortem report comes.
