Due to serious problem of drought, all the forests are burning, now a huge fire broke out in the forests of Nerwa –
Due to the major problem of increasing drought in all the forests of Himachal Pradesh, the forests have started burning. Due to lack of snowfall and rain for the last four months in Chaupal and Kupvi sub-divisions of Shimla district, moisture has completely disappeared from the ground. Due to the disappearance of moisture from the ground, farmers and gardeners are now facing continuous problems due to massive forest fires. Farmers and gardeners of Shimla district are not able to do agriculture and horticulture related work due to the severe forest fire. The forests of the entire Chaupal assembly constituency are continuously burning to ashes. Besides, due to the spread of smoke in the air, pollution is also spreading. The situation is becoming extremely bad in all the villages adjacent to the forests of Chaupal Assembly. The people of Chaupal assembly have to work hard to save their houses and gardens due to the massive forest fire.
At many places in Chaupal sub-division, gardens have also come under fire. Himachal Pradesh Forest Department employees are also working hard to extinguish the huge fire with the help of local people.
Himachal Pradesh Forest Department has already warned of taking strict action against all the mischievous elements who set fire. Despite this, the action taken by some mischievous elements of Himachal Pradesh Forest Department is not having any impact.
The biggest reason for this is that the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department has not yet taken action against any mischievous elements.
Recently, a massive fire had broken out in the forest near Nerwa town, due to which the massive fire was extinguished after a whole night of hard work.
Smoke was spread all around in the forests near Nerwa town. Due to which visibility was reduced to only fifty meters. Local people of Nerva town say that if the massive fire breaking out in the forests every day was not controlled in time, then the massive fire could have reached the residential settlements. The local people of Nerwa town have demanded the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department to crack down and take strictest action against all the mischievous elements who set fire to the forests.
