Major accident in Paonta Sahib: Car rolled into a deep gorge, one dead, condition of four critical.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Paonta Sahib, May 12:A very painful road accident has come to light in Kanti Mashwa adjacent to Puruwala police station area in Paonta Sahib sub-division of Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Due to which a twenty-eight year old youth died on the spot, along with this, the condition of four youths injured in the entire road accident is said to be critical. Puruwala police station in-charge and his team reached the spot, registered the entire case and investigated it closely.Â
Puruwala police station in-charge said that five youths of sub-division Paonta Sahib were returning in car number HP17B 0373 after taking bath in the waterfall of Kanti Mashava, when their car suddenly went out of control and rolled into a deep deep ditch near Sataun Marg, due to which A 28-year-old youth has died on the spot, and the condition of four seriously injured youth is said to be critical.

Hearing the sound of the car falling into the ditch, the villagers informed the Puruwala police about the whole matter and all the injured were brought out of the extremely deep 200 meter ditch on the road by the villagers.
After that, 108 ambulances were called and all the injured were sent to Paonta Sahib Hospital for first aid. After that, two seriously injured were referred by the doctors to the Medical College, Nahan in a critical condition.
Puruwala police station in-charge has identified the youth who died in the road accident as Pradeep Kumar, aged twenty-eight years, resident of Amargarh, Puruwala Paonta Sahib.
Also, among the four injured youth, Ajay Chaudhary, age twenty-two years, son of Satish Kumar village Jwalapur, Paonta Sahib, Manish Kumar, age twenty-nine years, son of Jagdish Singh village Amargarh Puruwala, Paonta Sahib, Anish Kumar, age twenty-six years, son of Jagdish Singh village Amargarh Paonta Sahib, Saurav Chaudhary, age twenty-six years, son of Raghuveer Singh, village Amargarh, Paonta Sahib.
