Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, April 20: Very painful news has been received in Tarnoh village of Sadar sub-division of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Here, a couple who were going to attend a wedding ceremony in a boat, drowned in the drain when the boat made from the tube of a truck tire, built to cross the Beas river, went out of control and overturned, In which the husband died on the spot while the wife was rescued.

Sadar police station in-charge said that Rooplal, a sweet Businessman from Bhuli in Mandi city, and his wife Veena Devi had left in a tube boat from Gheru Balh village for the wedding ceremony of Charogi village of Tarnoh Gram Panchayat, Then Rooplal died due to drowning on the spot when the boat went out of control and capsized while the condition of his wife Veena Devi is said to be critical.
