Jeep and tipper during the accident
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Bilaspur, June 03A heart-wrenching accident has occurred in Delag under Ghumarwin police station of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh due to a fierce collision between a school jeep and a tipper.
In the entire accident, nine school children travelling in the school jeep were seriously injured and all the children were admitted to Ghumarwin hospital for first aid where their condition is said to be critical.
The Ghumarwin police station in-charge has registered a case against the tipper driver and started investigation.
Ghumarwin police station in-charge said that the entire accident occurred in Delag town, located at a distance of three kilometers from Ghumarwin.He said that after the school was over at 2 pm, nine children of a private school were going towards Bharari in a school jeep.Suddenly, a tipper coming from the wrong side at a high speed hit the jeep carrying school children.The collision between the tipper and the school jeep was so painful that the jeep full of school children stopped on the wrong side after turning around.
On receiving the information of the accident, the in-charge of Ghumarwin police station reached the spot with his entire team and first of all, out of the total 14 children travelling in the school jeep, 9 seriously injured children were immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital Ghumarwin for first aid.
The Ghumarwin Police Station in-charge said that along with the nine seriously injured children, the condition of the school jeep driver is also said to be critical.After giving first aid to all the nine injured children in the Civil Hospital Ghumarwin, X-rays were also done due to their critical condition.
As soon as the information of the children being seriously injured was received, the school management and the parents of the school children also reached the Civil Hospital Ghumarwin and took updates of the condition of their children.

The Ghumarwin Police Station In-charge has registered a serious case against the tipper driver for driving the tipper carelessly. Regarding the entire matter, DSP Ghumarwin Chandrapal Singh said that the Ghumarwin Police Station In-charge is investigating the entire matter.
