100-year-old cedar tree fell in Bhootnath Chowk, Manali

Storm and hurricane have caused huge damage at many places. In this series, a big accident took place in Bhootnath Chowk, Manali. Due to the sudden fall of a cedar tree, ten parked vehicles of Manali Taxi Union were completely trapped and buried. And one person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
A massive ancient cedar tree has also engulfed a building, forcing the closure of the Tribe India showroom.
Local shopkeeper Satish told that the cedar tree was very old and the administration was asked several times to cut the branches but now the officials are surprised when an accident occurs.
