Kullu District Police has caught and recovered illegal cultivation of cannabis and intoxicants on one hundred and five bighas of land in all the forests of Jigling under Byasar and Paschihar Panchayat.

During this important action, Kullu District Police Administration has recovered more than four lakh fifty thousand cannabis and drug plants.

After the continuous day and night action of Kullu District Police Headquarters, there is a stir among all the cannabis and charas mafias of Kullu district. But on the other hand, despite the continuous ban on the drugs of cannabis and hashish, who is cultivating the drugs and on whose orders the drugs are being continuously cultivated, the names of all these persons have not been revealed yet.

Kullu District Police Administration has taken action against all the unknown people under Himachal Pradesh NDPS Act and registered the entire case.

Kullu District Police SP Sakshi Verma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that about three lakh plants of hemp are cultivated in eighty bighas of land in the forests of Jigling in Kullu district, whereas in Byasar about one and a half lakh plants are grown on about twenty-five bighas of forest department land. More cannabis and drug plants have been recovered.

SP Sakshi Verma also said that Kullu District Police is making full preparations to raid the charas mafia and all their other hideouts in all the forests.
