Due to the complete assessment of the heavy losses caused by the heart-wrenching rains, landslides and natural disaster in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh and the huge irregularities in the compensation amount and continuous complaints by the disaster affected people, the Chief Patwari of Manikarna Patwar Circle of Kullu district administration has been suspended the Patwari with immediate as some of the houses of the disaster affected people were not completely damaged and now Patwari will be produced in the judicial custody of Himachal Pradesh High Court On Tuesday.

Last few days in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, District Administration Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg visited Manikarna Valley of Kullu district and met all the disaster affected people and through inspection of all the reports of Patwari, huge complaints and irregularities were registered.

Also, the complaints of all the disaster affected people of Manikarna Valley of Kullu district about the continuous irregularities being done by the Patwari in the compensation amount were placed before Kullu District Administration Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg.

Due to which, through the process of scrutiny of all the reports of the Patwaris of Manikarna Valley and Manikarna Patwar Circle of the entire Kullu district, the houses of some disaster affected people were said in the Patwari’s report to be in a completely damaged condition, but Kullu District Administration Found During the visit of Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg to the entire Manikarna Valley, the houses of all the disaster affected people were not found to be completely damaged, due to which the Kullu district administration started the action process and suspended the Patwari with immediate effect.

Whereas in Manikarna Valley of Kullu district, Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg also found in the inspection report that the compensation amount was to be given to some residential landlords, but in the investigation report of the Patwari, during the inspection, the Patwari made even the non-residential landlords as residential landlords Was included in the report, which has been disclosed in the inspection report by Kullu district administration.

Also, the compensation amount of Himachal Pradesh Government was to be distributed to all the houses built on private land in Manikarna Valley of Kullu district, but in the report of Patwari, efforts are being made to provide compensation amount to many houses built on government land. This is coming out openly after investigation in the report.

Kullu District Administration, on the basis of all the investigation reports and facts, Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg has issued an order to the District Administration Department with immediate effect and issued a suspension notification of the Patwari of Manikarna Patwar Circle.

Due to the continuous complaints and irregularities received by the people of Manikarna Valley of Kullu district regarding the compensation amount, Kullu District Administration visited Sainj Valley and Banjar Valley of Kullu District to check the investigation report of Patwari in all the areas of Kullu District. Orders have been issued to re-examine all the investigation reports given by the Patwari to the Kullu district administration.

Due to huge complaints and irregularities in the disaster compensation amount being received by Kullu district administration, orders have been issued to take action after inspection on the reports of disaster affected people sent by all the Patwaris.

Kullu District Administration Revenue Officer Ganesh Thakur told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that due to huge irregularities in Manikarna Valley regarding the compensation amount to the disaster affected in Kullu district, as per the orders of Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg, the main accused Patwari of Manikarna Patwar Circle has been arrested with immediate effect. Suspension orders have been issued.
Also, Kullu District Administration Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg has now removed all the Patwaris and handed over the responsibility of preparing all the investigation reports regarding the compensation amount of the disaster affected people to Tehsildar Recovery.

After the investigation report of Tehsildar Recovery, notification has been issued for issuing suspension and dismissal orders of all the Patwaris one by one.
