Kullu News: Car Fell 100 Feet Deep In Chunar of Banjar, Two Injured

A car went out of control and fell into a deep gorge on Monday night in Teel’s Chunar under Banjar sub-division of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Two people have been badly injured in a car accident. Both the injured youths are from Paldi and Thatibeer areas. According to complete information, at around ten o’clock on Monday night, a taxi carrying a person who was visiting a relative went out of control in Chunar and fell about a hundred feet below the road.

In the car accident, taxi driver Khemchand, aged twenty-five years, son of Mohar Singh, Kohaldi Gram Panchayat, Post Office, Thatibeer, suffered serious injuries. Lot Ram, Moti Ram, Shadu Ram and Moti, local residents of Banjar sub-division, took both the injured to the road.

However, now the condition of both the injured is said to be out of danger. Kullu District Police Administration SP Sakshi Verma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the Banjar Police has recorded the statements of both the injured.
