Kinnaur’s Deputy Commissioner Torul S. Ravish said that due to the rains and floods in the district in the past, a loss of about eighty-five crore rupees has been assessed so far.

Talking to Diary Times in Kinnaur today, the Deputy Commissioner said that four people have lost their lives due to heavy rains in the district. He also said that the information about the damage is still coming continuously from the affected areas. Due to this, the figure of damage will increase further in the coming days.

The Deputy Commissioner also said that the National Highway in the district has been completely restored for vehicular movement. However, about one and a half dozen link roads are still closed in the district.
