Kinnaur district has lost connectivity with the capital Shimla due to the closure of National Highway 5 Nigulsari.

Due to the fall of sharp rocks on Nathpa Jhula road in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, National Highway 5 Nigulsari has once again been closed with heavy vehicles jammed on both the roads.

National Highway 5 Nigulsari has been blocked by the Kinnaur district administration due to the fall of sharp rocks amid incessant rains near Nathpa Jhula late last night.

On the other hand, Kinnaur National Highway 5 Nigulsari Authority told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the number of machinery has been increased by the Kinnaur District Administration to bring the traffic system back on track at 7.30 in the morning.

It has been decided to close National Highway 5 Nigulsari due to sharp rocks falling again on Nathpa Jhula at 10 am in the morning and in view of the movement of heavy vehicles on both the routes.

Kinnaur district has lost connectivity with the capital Shimla due to the closure of National Highway 5 Nigulsari once again.

Due to the closure of National Highway 5 Nigulsari, it is becoming very difficult for the Kinnaur District Traffic Police to clear the jam due to long queues of big heavy vehicles on both the roads.

On the other hand, increasing the number of laborers and machinery of Kinnaur National Highway 5 Nigulsari Authority has been deployed to restore National Highway 5 Nigulsari as soon as possible.
