Kinnaur : Central team visits Kinnaur to take stock of damage caused by rain and floods
The central team is on a tour of the state for three days to take stock of the heavy rains and increasing damage. The central team today visited other areas of Kinnaur district affected by flood, rains and landslides east of Sangla.
During this, a detailed presentation was also given by the Kinnaur district administration to the central team about the damage caused in the district, while the second team of the central team today inspected the damage caused by flood in Sahaj valley and other places of Kullu district.
The team leader of the central team, Rajneesh Kumar said that on the instructions of the Union Home Ministry, he visited many places in Himachal Pradesh and a damage report would be prepared and submitted to the ministry.
He said – After coming here, we see such damage everywhere. Water and floods have caused terrible damage everywhere. Now there is a solution or else we will go and submit our report to the government, we will hand it over to the Home Ministry, whatever we have reviewed here, how much and where is the damage, we are seeing that there is damage in every area.
Meanwhile, the central team is holding a meeting today in Shimla with the Chief Secretary and other senior officials regarding the damages caused by the natural calamity in the state.
