Kewal Singh Pathania: All Panchayats of Dharkandi of Shahpur Assembly Constituency will get road facility, plantation campaign also launched in Bhaled

Dharamshala, July 14: Road facility will be provided to all the Panchayats of Dharkandi area of Shahpur Assembly constituency of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, so that the development of Dharkandi area can be ensured. This sentiment was expressed by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania after performing the Bhoomi Pujan of the Bhaled to Dulli road landslide disaster mitigation work of Shahpur Assembly constituency. Along with this, Kewal Singh Pathania also inaugurated the tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling in Bhaled.
Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that our government is continuously doing developmental work under the leadership of the successful Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Pathania said that the development of Changar and backward areas is our priority. He said that the Bhaled to Dulli road was in a pathetic condition for many years due to disaster. Due to the landslide disaster mitigation work, thousands of people here will get convenience. He said that about Rs 8.40 crore has been approved for this work, out of which work worth Rs 2.40 crore has started. He said that work is being done to install new power projects and new transformers to solve the electricity problem in this area.

Kewal Singh Pathania appealed to everyone to plant trees continuously. He said that if we want to protect the environment for the future generation, then trees have to be saved. He said that our government is running many schemes for planting trees, but this work is not possible without public cooperation, so everyone should cooperate in this work.
Kewal Singh Pathania distributed 7 sewing machines to Roshni Self Help Group, which has been trained with the help of JICA. With the help of these sewing machines, the women of the village will be helped in earning livelihood. He praised the work of JICA and Forest Department, which are working together for 20 registered self-help groups.
He also heard the complaints of the people present on the spot and resolved most of the complaints on the spot. He also inspected the power project located at Kholi.

Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that in the by-election of Dehra assembly constituency of Kangra district, people power won while money power lost. He congratulated the newly elected MLAs Kamlesh Thakur and Bawa Hardeep Singh as well as the people of Dehra and Nalagarh on the victory of Congress candidates in two out of the three by-elections in Himachal Pradesh.
Kewal Singh Pathania said that in the 2022 assembly elections, the people of Kangra district gave full support to the Congress and elected Congress candidates on 10 seats. Meanwhile, due to the resignation of two MLAs from Kangra, the number of Congress MLAs was reduced to 9. Today, with the victory of the Congress candidate in the Dehra by-election, the number of Congress MLAs has increased to ten.
