Supervisor said – will hand over the report to Kharge today
On the decision of the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Congress observer Bhanwar Jitendra Singh said that we have taken the opinion of all the MLAs by holding a meeting till 2 am and have prepared a report. He said that we will soon submit this report to the Congress President.

Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah in the CM race
There are only two names at the forefront of the race to become CM in Karnataka and they are Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah. Regarding this, factionalism is also being seen among the newly elected MLAs of the state. On the previous day, MLAs supporting Shivkumar and Siddaramaiah had started a poster war and declared both of them as their new CM.

There has also been a demand from the Sunni Waqf Board to hand over five major ministries to Muslims. It has also been said that the Muslim community has given a lot to the Congress and it is time for the Congress to give it back.

Demand to make Muslim leader deputy CM

Shapi Saadi, chairman of the Karnataka Waqf Board, said it was said before the elections that the deputy chief minister should be from the Muslim community. He further said that 5 Muslim MLAs should be included in the government, not only that these MLAs should also get big ministries.

Congress won 72 seats only because of Muslims: Saadi

Shapi Sadi said that before the elections, we had demanded the Congress to field Muslim candidates on 30 seats. However, Muslim candidates were fielded on 15 seats by the party, out of which 9 candidates have won. He also said that Congress won 72 seats in Karnataka elections only because of Muslims. After this, it becomes the responsibility of the Congress that the party should thank us. The party will have to decide which Muslim MLA should be given which ministerial post.

Kharge will decide who will become the Chief Minister

A meeting of all the newly elected Congress MLAs of Karnataka was held on Sunday. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge has been given the responsibility to appoint the leader of the Congress Legislature Party in the meeting. This information has been given by Jairam Ramesh, in-charge of Congress communication department. For this, Kharge has appointed three senior observers who will report to him. After this a final decision will be taken on this.
