Kangra Valley Festival concludes with drone, music and heritage celebration

Kangra – Kangra Valley Festival 2024 concluded with a spectacular mix of technology, music and cultural performances that left visitors overwhelmed by the rich heritage of the region. The highlight of the grand finale was an extraordinary drone light show by Botlab Dynamics, which involved 200 drones that painted the night sky with breathtaking visuals.

The drone show, held on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi with a spectacular aerial formation of his image and the iconic charkha. The drones also depicted famous landmarks of Kangra like the historic Kangra Fort and the iconic Jwala Devi Temple. The tribute to the traditional Himachali hat and the depiction of Kangra’s popular tourist activities like paragliding and trekking added to the spectacle, showcasing the valley’s offerings for visitors.

Adding to the grandeur, renowned musician Satinder Sartaaj enthralled the audience with his soulful performance. Their music deeply moved the crowd, who danced and celebrated the evening joyously. Local artists also performed, which highlighted the diverse talents of the region and ensured a vibrant cultural experience.

This is not the first time Botlab Dynamics has garnered attention in Himachal Pradesh. Earlier, on September 26, 2024, the company performed another drone show with 150 drones during the Mata Chintapurni Festival in Una, further cementing its reputation as a pioneer in drone light shows across India.

The Kangra Valley Festival 2024 has once again proved to be a grand celebration of Himachal Pradesh’s heritage, combining cutting-edge technology with traditional arts, and offering something unique to everyone present.
