These days there is a glut of Noorpuri mangoes in Kangra district’s Jasur vegetable market and traders from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are reaching to buy raw mangoes.
Compared to previous years in Nagpur region, this time there has been less production of mangoes. Due to which the Gods are getting good prices. Nurpuri mango has its own identity in North India and the gardeners’ crop is being sold hand in hand in the Jasoor vegetable market.
A farmer said – Nowadays our season is running on Noor. Our local farmers are coming to our multi with mangoes and the Indian traders from Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana are getting good rates like you. Where good facilities are being provided due to the local market, due to which good rates are being received.
