Kangra News : Death due to being swept away by the strong current of the famous tourist spot Bhagsu waterfall of Dharamshala
Kangra News : A tourist who had gone to take bath in Bhagsu waterfall, a famous tourist spot of Dharamshala, died after being swept away by the strong current of Bhagsu drain.
In this incident that happened yesterday, thirty-two year old Pawan Kumar, who had come to Dharamshala from Jalandhar to visit Dharamshala, along with his four companions were taking bath at the waterfall in the morning. During this time suddenly the flow of water in the drain increased and Pawan Kumar was swept away in it.
Later, with the help of SDRF and police, Pawan Kumar’s body was recovered a hundred meters away from the spot. Kangra ASP Veer Bahadur said that the police have registered the case and started investigation.
Once again the police have warned all the tourists that they should not take bath in any waterfall like this because in such a situation they can become victim of any untoward incident at any time and the police has warned all the tourists. It is advised not to go to such waterfalls
