BJP has fielded famous actress Kangana Ranaut on this seat. For the first time in Himachal Pradesh, a celebrity is trying her luck in the elections. Congress has not yet declared its candidate for Mandi Lok Sabha seat. Congress can make Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh its candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha seat. This is the reason why Kangana Ranaut and Vikramaditya Singh are making sharp attacks on each other.

Kangana said in an election rally in Manali on Friday that Vikramaditya Singh is her younger brother and he remains angry with her. Kangana sarcastically said that I gave him lovely names like Raja Beta and Raja Babu but he got upset with it. When we told him Chhota Pappu, he sat down with a proud face. Kangana did not stop here, she further said that if someone compares her with the top leadership, then he would be overjoyed. But he got angry when he compared Vikramaditya with their top leader.
Kangana said that Vikramaditya Singh is a cabinet minister in the Congress government. Congress had promised to start a pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh. Did the Congress government start this pension scheme? There was talk of building a mobile hospital, mobile vans will go from door to door to provide free treatment, no one has seen such a van in Mandi. Congress had announced 5 to 6 lakh jobs and had talked about giving Rs 1500 every month to women and daughters. But neither jobs nor Rs 1500 were given to the women. Gardeners are not getting support price.
Kangana said, “Vikram bhaiya, if we talk to you about work, you talk nonsense and when we talk to you in reverse, you say that we have to talk directly, so who should we talk to you about?” Kangana said, “If anyone in this country talks about work, shows it by doing it and starts by saying a guarantee at the drop of a hat and delivers with a guarantee, it is only one Narendra Modi.”
Congress leader and cabinet minister Vikramaditya Singh hit back at Kangana Ranaut and advised Kangana to do homework on Himachal issues. He said that Kangana does not come after doing her homework. They should gather information about the issues of Himachal. The media team accompanying her should make her aware of these issues. Vikramaditya said that if Kangana has talked about OPS in her speech, then she should know that Himachal government has implemented OPS and Himachal has become the first state to do so. If Kangana is so well-wisher of the employees, then she should contribute to the state in getting Rs 9000 crore of the employees stuck with the Centre.
Vikramaditya Singh said that Himachal elections will be fought on local issues instead of glamorous ones. Kangana talked about our ancestors yesterday, but we do not need to take any certificate from them. Vikramaditya Singh further said that his father late Virbhadra Singh is not called a king because he was the king of any princely state. He was the Chief Minister of the state six times, was a Union Minister and served the state for a long time.
Taking aim at Kangana, Vikramaditya Singh said that people’s hearts cannot be won by absurd talk, but for this one has to work on the ground. Vikramaditya said that Kangana’s statement that India got independence only in 2014 is unfortunate and by saying this she has insulted not only the Indians but also the senior BJP leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who ruled the country from 1998 to 2003.
At that time, the nuclear test was conducted by the Vajpayee government, which was necessary for the internal security of the country. Vikramaditya Singh said that such statements of Kangana are worrying and senior leaders of RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP should think and brainstorm about this.
