On Sunday, BJP leader of opposition Jairam Thakur strongly attacked this statement of Vikramaditya.

Taking on Vikramaditya Singh, Jai Ram Thakur said that after the heart-wrenching natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh, seven bridges in Mandi district were washed away. But today, even after eight months have passed, leave alone building the bridge, the PWD Minister has not even been able to make normal arrangements for the pedestrians, Due to which, a sweets merchant who was going to attend a wedding ceremony in Tarnoh village of Sadar has died after his tube boat overturned due to the washing away of the bridge on the Vyas river.
Jairam told that the Central Narendra Modi government has deposited an amount of more than three crores in the treasury of Himachal Pradesh government for the repair of bridges, but the Public Works Department is sleeping and Vikramaditya is responsible for this.
Jairam Thakur made a big revelation that during the fifteen months of the false government of Sukhu, payments have not been made to the honest contractors while the treasury is being looted to the contractors of Congress.
