Mandi, November 21: Former CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has denied the allegations leveled by the Congress party in which it is said that tourism hotels were handed over to private hands even in Jairam Thakur’s government and the state government will get it investigated. Jairam Thakur said in Mandi that the state government should conduct the investigation with an open mind, he is fully ready for every kind of investigation.
He said that nothing like this has happened during his tenure as Chief Minister. Jairam Thakur said that even before the court orders, the state government had hatched a conspiracy to sell the hotels and had also agreed to some people. This is a big conspiracy and a conspiracy is being hatched to sell Himachal. The people of the state have to understand this. He said that the layers of corruption of the government are now opening up and it has been completely exposed, so now such allegations are being leveled against the opposition.
Jairam Thakur said that the Congress government of the state is hell bent on auctioning the state. The way Himachal Sadan was attached is unfortunate. Today, the surprising thing is that the profitable tourism hotels are also being auctioned by showing them as loss making. There are such tourism hotels in Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala which are running in profit and the expenses of other hotels are also met on the basis of them. But today they are also being shown as loss making. Why did the state government do this, this truth should come out in front of the people.
