Even all the ministers are not able to attend cabinet meetings. Why is the government in such chaos? On one hand, the youth of the state have been on the streets for months demanding declaration of the results of pending examinations. In order to save his chair, the Chief Minister is busy in giving cabinet rank like a Revdi Culture, ignoring the interests of the public, so that the dissidents can be appeased. On one hand, the government is complaining of financial crisis, on the other hand, the people of the state are imposing unnecessary burden of crores of rupees by distributing cabinet ranks. The situation of the Congress government can be gauged from the way the Chief Minister is appeasing his leaders.

Jairam Thakur said that such chaos has not been seen till date. A notification is issued to appoint an MLA as Chief Whip but in the budget his appointment is made as Deputy Chief Whip. When there was an opportunity, the government remained busy enjoying the pleasures of power instead of working for public welfare. Now, just before the Lok Sabha elections, the government is once again trying to cheat the common people by announcing schemes without budget provisions. If the Chief Minister had looked after the interests of the people of the state as diligently as he is trying to satisfy all angry leaders, the situation would have been different today. Today the situation is such that neither the Congress leaders nor the people of the state are satisfied.

The Leader of Opposition said that the youth have been agitating against the government for one and a half years demanding jobs but the Chief Minister is adjusting his private secretaries by appointing them as advisors even after retirement. This makes it clear that the Chief Minister is working only to enjoy power and accommodate his favourites. Jai Ram Thakur said that the job of the Chief Minister is for the welfare of the people of the state and to take the state forward but the present Chief Minister has nothing to do with the interests of the state nor of the people of the state.

He said that the government should work in the interest of the state and not to preserve power. Congress has been completely exposed. This time in the Lok Sabha elections, the people of the state are ready to answer the false guarantees given to the Congress. The people of Himachal will make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third time by making BJP win all four Lok Sabha seats with an overwhelming majority. The people of the country trust only the guarantees of Narendra Modi.
