Senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal has been given the additional charge of Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police by the Himachal Pradesh government. An important notification has been issued by the Himachal Pradesh Home Department late on Tuesday evening regarding the appointment of IPS officer Satwant Atwal as Himachal Pradesh DGP.

Senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi has been given the additional charge of Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police by the Himachal Pradesh government. An important notification has been issued by the Himachal Pradesh Home Department late on Tuesday evening regarding the additional charge of Himachal Pradesh DGP to IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi.

Senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi is currently serving as ADG, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi has already been assigned the additional charge of ADG CID by the Himachal Pradesh government.

After the removal of Himachal Pradesh DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu from the post as per the orders of the Honorable Himachal Pradesh High Court, the Himachal Pradesh Government has unanimously handed over the additional charge of Himachal Pradesh DGP to senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi after discussion with the Cabinet.

Rajeev Kumar will be the Chief Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) –

On the other hand, 2003 cadre HAS officer Rajiv Kumar has been appointed Chief Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) by the Himachal Pradesh Government. After the retirement of Amit Kashyap, the important post of Chief Managing Director in Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) had become vacant. On Tuesday, the most important notification has been issued by the Himachal Pradesh Personnel Department appointing Rajeev Kumar as the Chief Managing Director of HPTDC. HAS officer Rajiv Kumar had the charge of Director of Youth Services and Sports Department of Himachal Pradesh.

Sandeep Kumar, IAS officer of year 2010 cadre and Special Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Department, has been given the additional charge of Director of Sports by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

Along with this, Satish Sharma, Chief Executive Director, Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA), has been appointed Chief Director, Himachal Pradesh Revenue Training Institute, Jogindernagar Mandi District Administration.

Mandi District Administration Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary has been relieved from the additional charge of Chief Director, Himachal Pradesh Revenue Training Institute.

Nishant Thakur, Chief Secretary, Himachal Pradesh State Food Commission, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Education Department.
