Now in Bilaspur AIIMS, Himachal Pradesh, luxurious facilities of separate IPD (Inpatient Department) have been started for all the patients admitted in seven more departments. Now separate arrangements have been made to admit patients in all seven departments. The number of ICU beds has also been increased by seven beds for emergency situations by AIIMS Bilaspur Institute. Fifteen bed facilities will be provided to the patients of Endocriminology Department of AIIMS Bilaspur. Apart from this, separate bed facilities have also been provided for all the patients of ENT, Plastic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Rheumatology and Dentistry departments in AIIMS Bilaspur.
In the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur district, arrangements were made by the institute to admit patients only in the departments of General Diseases, Gynecology and Orthopedics till the month of October 2023. Apart from this, all other patients were admitted to the joint IPD (inpatient department). At present, a total of twenty one OPDs are functioning in AIIMS Bilaspur Institute. On the other hand, last year in 2023, till the month of October, around four hundred and twenty-five bed facilities were provided in AIIMS Bilaspur Institute. But now the number of beds has been increased by the AIIMS Bilaspur management to approximately five hundred and forty seven.

AIIMS Bilaspur management had started IPD (Inpatient Department) of Gynecology, Ortho as well as General Medicine departments in the year 2023 itself. Now AIIMS Bilaspur management has started IPD (Inpatient Department) for patients in the departments of ENT, Plastic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Rheumatology, Dentistry and Endocriminology.
The number of beds has been increased by approximately 120 for patients in all seven departments. AIIMS Bilaspur management has allocated thirty beds in the General Surgery Department, fifteen beds in the ENT Department, fifteen beds in the Plastic Surgery Department, fifteen beds in the Neuro Surgery Department, fifteen beds in the Endocriminology Department, fifteen beds in the Rheumatology Department. Along with increasing the number of beds, a separate IPD (Inpatient Department) of ten beds has been started in the Dental Department.
Earlier, patients from all the seven departments were admitted to the common IPD (Inpatient Department) of AIIMS Bilaspur. On the other hand, the number of beds in the Critical Care Unit ICU has been increased by four and the facilities of seven beds in the Medicine Surgery ICU have also been made available to the patients.

Till now twenty one OPDs are functioning in AIIMS Bilaspur. Neurology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Neurology, CTVS (Heart Bypass Surgery), CTVS (Heart Bypass Surgery), Medical Oncology (Cancer Related Diseases), Radiation Oncology (Cancer Therapy) OBG & Gynecology, Dermatology (Skin Therapy) at AIIMS Bilaspur Specialist), Pediatrician, Neonatology (New Born Children’s OPD), Nephrology (Kidney Related), Surgical Oncology (Oncology Surgery), Endocrinology (Hormone Producing Glands Related), Psychiatrist, Orthopedic Specialist, General Medicine Services of specialist doctors have been made available to the patients in all the twenty-one OPDs of ENT and Eye departments. AIIMS Bilaspur management is running the General Diseases Department, Gynecology Department as well as the IPD (Inpatient Department) of the Orthopedics Department for the patients.
