Inflation in Pakistan has broken all its records. This rate of inflation has now reached 38 percent in the month of May, which is the highest after the independence of Pakistan. Inflation figures are being kept in Pakistan since 1957. The inflation rate in Pakistan last month was 36.4 percent. It is being told that the rate of inflation has increased due to the huge increase in the prices of food grains. Meanwhile, the way for Pakistan to get loan from International Monetary Fund has been closed.

The IMF also rejected Shehbaz Sharif’s plea and rejected the loan request. Experts say that Pakistan has no option but to appeal to the IMF once again. Last year in Pakistan, the rate of inflation was 13.76 percent in the month of May, but now it has reached its highest level. The Shahbaz government in Pakistan had brought the new Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with the hope that he would be able to control inflation and get loans from the IMF, but he has proved to be a complete failure.
