Ashish Thakur of Parol Gram Panchayat, which comes under Bhoranj sub-division of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, through his hard work, by becoming a lieutenant in the Indian Army, has made the name of his Parol Gram Panchayat reach every corner of Himachal Pradesh. Ashish Kumar of Parol Gram Panchayat, who belongs to Victoria family, is the son of Late Shri Man Chand ji from Hamirpur district of Bhoranj tehsil of Parol Gram Panchayat. Ashish Thakur’s mother Mrs. Ranjana Devi of Parol Gram Panchayat and his father Ravi Chandra told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Ashish Kumar has passed the plus two examination from New Era Senior Secondary School, Parol Gram Panchayat itself. After passing the plus two examination, Ashish Kumar had got admission in B.Sc. in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government College, Hamirpur District Headquarters, but currently Ashish Kumar was studying B.Sc. second year when at the same time, Ashish Kumar had participated in the open army recruitment held at Luhnu Maidan in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Ashish Kumar had performed best in the open army recruitment at Luhnu Maidan in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, due to which Ashish Kumar was recruited in Jammu and Kashmir Rifles in 2017. Due to Ashish Kumar’s desire to move ahead, he worked hard and hard on himself, after working in general duty for two years, Ashish Kumar of Parol Gram Panchayat passed SSB in the first attempt in 2019 from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. By passing the exam, he had brought glory to the entire Parol Gram Panchayat. After that, Ashish Kumar passed out as a Lieutenant from the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun on December 9, 2023. Both his mother Mrs. Ranjana Devi, who is a housewife, and his father Ravi Chandra, who is currently serving on the post of Patwari in the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department, have expressed happiness over the entire achievement of Lieutenant Ashish Kumar.
