Earlier, seats number two and three in all the passenger buses of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) were reserved by the HRTC Board Management for the disabled category.

Two consecutive seats numbered ten and eleven will be reserved for disabled people in HRTC’s general passenger buses –

Now an important decision to reserve two consecutive seats numbered ten and eleven for the disabled category in all the general class passenger buses operated by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has been taken by the HRTC Board Management.

Earlier, in all the general class passenger buses operated by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), two consecutive seats numbered two and three were reserved for the disabled by the HRTC Board Management.

On the other hand, in the general passenger buses operated by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), due to all kinds of inconvenience to the disabled persons in getting up and sitting on the adjacent seat under the glass cabin of the bus driver, the seats reserved by the HRTC Board Management are But by making changes, it will be easier for disabled passengers to sit on seats number ten and eleven.

Due to changes in the seats of normal buses by the HRTC board management for the disabled passengers, now seats number ten and eleven behind the first door of the HRTC bus have been reserved for the disabled passengers.

Also, all disabled passengers will be able to easily travel in HRTC buses from seats number ten and eleven.

Chief Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Board, Rohan Chand Thakur told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that while changing the numbers of seats reserved for all the disabled persons, seats number ten and eleven have been reserved for the disabled persons. Notification and guidelines have been issued to all HRTC Regional Managers.

Now, guidelines and notification have also been issued to the regional managers to write ‘Reserved for Disabled’ above both the seats numbered ten and eleven in all the general class passenger buses operated by HRTC.
