HRTC News: Fake Tickets Worth Rs 4500 Given To Passengers By Tampering With The Machine
A serious case has come to light of the conductor of a Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus coming from Ambala towards Baddi, tampering with the ticket machine and issuing fake tickets worth Rs 4,500 to the passengers. The entire case of HRTC bus conductor tampering with the ticket machine by first taking out blank slips and then making fake tickets worth Rs 4,500 by writing on those blank slips with a pen has come to light. The conductor had made fake tickets by telling the passengers that the ticket machine was malfunctioning.

By pressing the enter button on the ticket machine, the conductor took out a blank slip and wrote it with a pen and gave the ticket to the passengers. When a surprise inspection was conducted by the Flying Squad team of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation, Solan Division on Monday, the entire matter came to light. When the bus conductor was asked for information regarding fake tickets, he was found completely unable to provide complete information. The Flying Squad team has prepared a report against the conductor and submitted it to the higher officials of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) department. Further action against the conductor will be taken by higher officials of HRTC Board. On the other hand, there is also talk of getting the conductor’s ticket machine inspected by the HRTC Board.
According to complete information, the HRTC bus of Parwanoo depot coming from Ambala district towards Baddi was stopped by the investigation team of Flying Squad HRTC Corporation in Pinjore. During the investigation, when the Flying Squad teams checked the tickets of the passengers in the HRTC bus, it was found that the passengers were found to have fake tickets worth more than Rs 4,500. The tickets were made by the conductor by writing with a pen on the blank ticket slip. No evidence of making fake tickets was found from the conductor. The team of Flying Squad has prepared a complete report of fake tickets on the spot and has also submitted it to the higher officials of HRTC Board and RM Parwanoo.
