HPU Shimla: UG Final Year Examinations Will Start From March 28, Final Datesheet Released.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 20: After the objections received on the previously released tentative datesheet of the final year of the bachelor’s degree course of Himachal Pradesh University, it has been changed and the final datesheet has been released. The final year examinations of UG degree courses BA, B.Sc., B.Com and Shastri will start from March 28, which will continue till May 8.
The datesheet issued by the Pro. Shyam Lal Kaushal, Controller of Examinations of Himachal Pradesh University has been uploaded on the official website of Himachal Pradesh University for the information of the candidates.

Students will be able to download the datesheet from the official website of Himachal Pradesh University. Along with the exam schedule, Pro. Shyam Lal Kaushal, the Controller of Examinations of Himachal Pradesh University has sent a reminder to the colleges to upload the internal assessment, CCA of the students and get it verified by May 22, under any circumstances.

It has been warned that if the internal assessment, CCA is not uploaded and verified, the exam roll numbers of the students will not be generated. Colleges will be completely responsible for the problems faced regarding roll numbers. Pro. Shyam Lal Kaushal has asked the colleges to upload and verify the internal assessments on time. The final year examinations of the Himachal Pradesh University are to be conducted in 157 examination centers established across the Himachal Pradesh. About thirty thousand students will participate in final year examinations.
After the schedule of final year examinations has been finalized, the Himachal Pradesh University will soon finalize and release the datesheet of UG first and second year examinations. The Himachal Pradesh University has to take a decision on giving additional chances to first year UG students who fail to pass the compartment exam despite getting two chances. For this, approval is awaited from the State Election Commission. After getting permission from the State Election Commission, the Himachal Pradesh University will have to make necessary changes in the examination schedule of these two classes. Therefore its datesheet has not been released.

Roll numbers will be issued only after internal assessment is uploaded –
Roll numbers can be generated and downloaded from the students’ login ID only after the internal assessment of each student from the colleges is uploaded from the login ID of the teacher and verified from the principal. The college should complete the internal assessment upload and verification by 22nd March on priority basis. Otherwise, students will not be able to get their roll numbers online. Colleges will be responsible for this problem.

HPU BCA, BBA semester exams from 12th April –
Himachal Pradesh University has released the schedule of semester examinations of BBA and BCA under CBCS. Schedule has been uploaded on the Himachal Pradesh University Official Website. As per the schedule, the examinations of second, fourth and sixth semester of BBA CBCS course will be held from April 12 to April 27. Apart from this, the examinations of second, fourth and sixth semester of BCA course will be conducted from April 12 to May 1. Controller of Examinations Prof. SL Kaushal said that the datesheet of both the courses is available on the Official Website.
