HPU Shimla: All Thesis Will Be Available Online In HPU Library, Students Records Will be Safe

Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 06:  All Thesis will be available online for students in the library of Himachal Pradesh University. To make the thesis available online, students will get the facility to read the thesis online at one click. Himachal Pradesh University has digitalized the PhD and MPhil thesis of former students of HPU who have done research in the university. In this, all the thesis available in the university library till now are being prepared in digital form.

After digitalizing the thesis, the thesis will be made available online for the students. The biggest convenience of these thesis being online will be that the students who are doing research work in the departments of the university can download these thesis online and get better ideas for research from former students of HPU thesis.

So far, Himachal Pradesh University Management has completed the first phase of the process of digitalizing the thesis. Himachal Pradesh University is taking a big step to digitalize all thesis, so that along with the direction of making the library of Himachal Pradesh University hi-tech, the records of thesis done by the alumni of HPU can also be preserved.

At present around six thousand students are registered in the library of Himachal Pradesh University. All these students are getting the facility to search the books lying in different sections of the library of Himachal Pradesh University on the online screen through the kiosk machine. Through the kiosk machine, students can directly find out in which section of the library the book is by typing the title of the book and the name of book author on the screen. The student does not need to wander through every section of the library for a book.

Now with the thesis being online, the facility of thesis will also be available to the students online. Students will not need to visit the library of Himachal Pradesh University to get their thesis. Students will be able to easily view the thesis online sitting anywhere with internet facility. Till now, this thesis was available to the students only in the form of books in the library or related departments of HPU.
