- HPRCA: RK Pruthi Has Been Given Additional Charge Of The Post Of Chairman Of HPRCA, Hamirpur.
Himachal Pradesh Government has created the post of Chairman in the newly formed State Selection Commission, Hamirpur. 2009 cadre IAS officer Dr. RK Pruthi has been given the additional charge of Chairman of the State Selection Commission.
To speed up the recruitment process in Himachal Pradesh, the Sukhu government has given the additional charge of the Chairman to Dr. RK Pruthi, Chief Administrator of the Selection Commission, till the appointment of the Chairman is made. Himachal Personnel Department has issued a notification in this regard in the Gazette on Tuesday.
After dissolving the State Selection Commission due to paper leak cases, the Sukhu government has re-constituted the commission.
New recruitments of Group C in Himachal Pradesh are to be done through this commission. Recently, the Cabinet has given approval to make rules for the procedure and functioning of the Commission. Under this, to maintain transparency in the recruitment process, it has been decided to set the question paper through an automated process through computers while ensuring minimum human intervention.
One time registration facility will be provided to all eligible candidates. After this they will be able to apply online for various vacancies. Various notifications and advertisements related to vacancies will also be available to the registered candidates on the dashboard of the Commission.
After receiving the applications, the Commission will scrutinize the applications and prepare e-admit card on the basis of their user ID. Candidates will be able to download this e-admit card easily. Candidates will be able to enter the examination centers only after verification of the e-admit card through bar code and biometric scanning. The Commission may also decide to conduct written objective type screening test under the surveillance of CCTV cameras through online computer process. For the convenience of the candidates, Common Eligibility Test or Computer Based Test will be conducted.
